- Championing operational efficiency and excellence of our Warehouse team, ensuring top-tier service delivery to both our store and valued customers.
- Developing and managing team rosters to strategically align with business needs, guaranteeing the highest standards of customer care.
- Facilitating weekly team meetings to communicate key updates and drive alignment across Warehouse operations
- Providing ongoing coaching to the Warehouse team, proactively supporting performance development and addressing opportunities for growth.
- Leading workplace Health and Safety initiatives, maintaining the security of our facility, inventory, and equipment.
- Participating in hands-on Warehouse duties, including lifting and general tasks as needed.
- Coordinating stocktake preparation and partnering with the Supply Chain Management team to ensure precise, ongoing inventory control.
- Nurturing commercial relationships with transport carriers and managing logistics partnerships.
- Overseeing Warehouse budgeting and expense management to support operational targets.
- Collaborating closely with planning teams on inventory management and optimisation for the Christchurch Warehouse.
- Overseeing inbound receiving processes and ensuring seamless stock allocation
What' You Will Bring?
You are a seasoned supply chain professional with a depth of expertise in warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics, complemented by a proven ability to lead and develop teams. Your strengths include:
Demonstrated project management acumen, with the ability to balance priorities and drive successful initiatives—including integration or DC relocation projects.
Physically fit and strong as some heavy lifting is required
MPI accredited and have a current forklift licence
Manhattan or Scale expose
SAP Knowledge desirable
A proactive, self-motivated approach, skilled at empowering and engaging a high-performing team.
